Fri. September 24, 2027 – WELCOME TO SICILY
Transfer to Castellammare del Golfo. (Based on 3 arrival times)
Upon your arrival at Palermo Airport, you will be greeted by your private driver, who will take you to your hotel in Castellammare del Golfo. After arriving at your accommodation (Oceanfront balcony rooms), you will have time to relax and unwind. Later that afternoon we will enjoy a Welcome Party and a specialty drink. We will end the evening with a walk to discover the main attraction of the town, its soul and lifestyle, the best places for traditional pastries, ice-cream, coffee, food, and handcraft shopping. Then you may explore this fascinating town on your own.

Sat. September 25, 2027 - Mazara del Vallo,
After a relaxing morning, we are off to explore with our private English tour guide Mazara del Vallo. This town was founded in the ninth century BC by the Phoenicians, then became part of the Magna Graecia, later by Romans and in 827 by the Arabs, under their rule the town became the second important city after Palermo (the capitol of Sicily). Today Mazara del Vallo has the largest fishing fleet in Italy and offers a mix of culture, history, art, and ethnicity. We will visit the Historic Kasbah Quarter in the town center, also the beautiful Piazza della Republica and Spanish Baroque Seminary and the fascinating, bustling fishing harbor. Back to Castellammare, your evening is at your leisure.

Sun. September 26, 2027 - Palermo – Royal Palace and the 12th century Palatine Chapel
This morning we will leave early to visit Palermo the capitol of Sicily. We will meet with our private tour guide for a special sightseeing tour of Palermo to admire some of the UNESCO WORLD SITES Your stops will include Palermo Cathedral, Casa Professa, Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria (where the famous fashion show of Dolce and Gabbana was held), Chiesa Martorana, Mercato del Capo, Teatro Politeama, and Theatro Massimo, (second largest stages in Europe and the famed opera houses.) We will learn the city’s fascinating history and the many cultures. We will enter the Royal Palace and visit the jewel kept inside the 12th century Palatine Chapel featuring stunning, shimmering mosaics and ceilings covered in spectacular wooden panels carved and painted by Arab craftsmen. We will pass through streets filled with outdoor markets like Mercato Ballaro one of the most historical market of Palermo full of color and folklore. Here you may enjoy some typical Sicilian Street Food such as “Pane Ca Meusa”, “Panelle” and the famous “Arancini”. Back to Castellammare, this evening we will meet for dinner at this authentic local restaurant with a beautiful view of the marina, while we savor a delicious Sicilian multi course meal with local wines included.

Mon. September 27, 2027 - Hands-on Pasta Making, Harvesting Grapes, visit the Winery with Wine Tasting and Lunch
Also today we will leave Castellammare to go for a Naturalistic Walk among vineyards, olive trees, and lemon groves to discover the curiosity of the Sicilian countryside. Next, we will head to the Gastronomic Laboratory with “Le Mani in Pasta” making Homemade Macaroni from scratch with the help of our local housewife. We will witness the slow preparation of the “Meat Sauce”. While that is cooking, we will visit the Wine Cellar on a guided tour to learn about ancient tools and modern methods, tasting of 2 wines from the vats, and the must from 2022. Next, we will have the pleasure to walk through the vineyard among the rows and Harvesting the Grapes then pressing in the press and drinking the grape juice, but also, we will press the grapes with our feet in the vats like in the old days.
The highlight of the day will be that our Lunch is our creation of the day, along with some typical specialties and some Sicilian wines. Back to Castellammare, your evening is at your leisure.

Tues. September 28, 2027 - Selinunte Archeological Park: Farm To Table Dinner
tables draped in candlelight and savor plates piled high with heirloom vegetables, freshly pressed olive oil, and pastas made from stone-milled grains grown just steps away. Each dish tells a story of the land, enriched by the flavors of organic produce, pasture-raised meats, and local cheeses—paired perfectly with estate-produced wines. Here, under the open Sicilian sky, every bite feels rooted in tradition, community, and the simple luxury of nature’s bounty.

Wed. September 29, 2027 - Medieval Charm in the HIlltop Towof Erice
This morning, we set off at 9:00 am for a delightful journey to one of Sicily’s most enchanting destinations: Erice. Nestled 2,400 feet above sea level, this beautifully preserved medieval village offers spectacular panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and surrounding countryside. As you stroll through Erice’s winding stone streets, you’ll be transported to another time. Admire the ancient city walls, visit the quaint town square, and take in the fairytale-like charm of its churches and towers. Don’t miss the chance to visit a local pasticceria and indulge in the town’s famous Sicilian pastries, especially the almond-based treats and ricotta-filled delights that have made Erice a culinary gem. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore local artisan shops, browse for hand-crafted ceramics, and enjoy lunch on your own at one of the inviting trattorias nestled within the village. In the afternoon, we’ll make our way back to Castellammare del Golfo, where the rest of your evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure—whether that means a relaxing stroll by the marina ora delicious dinner with a sea view.

Thurs. September 30, 2027 - Ricotta Making, Hands-on Bread Making, Prepare Cannoli, Harvesting Olives visit the Winery with Wine Tasting and Lunch
This morning, we’ll journey into the scenic Sicilian mountains to visit Antica Masseria, a charming family-run farm that has been preserving traditional methods for generations. Here, in the heart of the countryside, we’ll roll up our sleeves and take part in an authentic hands-on experience: making fresh, Homemade Ricotta cheese from scratch. Guided by our warm and welcoming hosts, you’ll witness the entire process—from warm milk to creamy curds—while learning about the cultural roots behind this beloved staple of Sicilian cuisine. The early wake up call will be quickly forgotten as you breathe in the fresh mountain air, connect with the rhythm of rural life, and taste the warm ricotta along with other authentic Sicilian flavors so pure and rich, they simply can’t be found anywhere else. This is Sicily at its most genuine, simple, soulful, and unforgettable. Also this morning we will offer an experience at this Organic Farm where we will have the pleasure to stroll through the olive groves to Harvest the Olives. After a brief introduction on the olive trees and benefits of extra virgin olive oil, you are actively involved in laying the nets under the trees and harvesting the olives in the appropriate baskets and we will witness the pressing of the olives in our small oil mill. Once you have relaxed it is time to learn how to make Traditional Sicilian Bread, we will head to the Gastronomic Laboratory with “Le Mani in Pasta”. We will learn every step and do them yourself from mixing the ingredients to kneading the dough with the help of our local housewife. After this extraordinary experience we will enjoy the tasting of the new olive oil with our hot homemade bread along with olives and olive pate’. We will complete this unique day with an authentic Sicilian Lunch with Wines. This will be the most memorable, fun and hands-on way to spend an afternoon on a local farm to enjoy an authentic culinary experience.

Fri. October 1, 2027 - Ricotta Making
On your final day in Sicily, enjoy a well-deserved free day to relax and take in the surroundings at your own pace before departure. It’s the perfect time for last-minute shopping, a leisurely
meal, a seaside stroll, or simply unwinding and reflecting on the memories made throughout the journey. However you choose to spend it, this day is yours to savor the spirit of Sicily one last time.
