Rome And Amalfi Add-On

Upon your arrival in Rome our drivers will be ready at Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome to pick you up and to take you to the hotel.

Check in at the hotel. At 2 o’clock our official Roman and Vatican guide will be ready in the lobby of the hotel to meet us and start a 3-hour tour using the vans. We drive to the Spanish Steps, from there we walk to the Trevi Fountain, to the Pantheon, to the Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori, Piazza Argentina where Cesar was stabbed, during the tour we will also be able to enter churches and we can taste a good gelato or pizza, or a coffee espresso of course, when in Rome you do what Romans do. We drive back to the hotel to rest a bit and you meet our tour guide at 8 o’clock pm for a 2-hour night tour, to enjoy the eternal city totally illuminated. We will drive mainly, and you will hear your guide talking as you will have all the time headsets with you.

We will meet the guide and the drivers at 9 o’clock am to start the tour of the archeological sites visiting the Colosseum and the Roman Forum inside. Your guide will purchase the skip the line tickets 3 months in advance, to make sure to get them.

Light lunch (on your own) in a local place, to taste a carbonara or amatriciana, typical roman pastas.

At 2 o’clock we will be driving to the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Your guide will already have the skip the line tickets. Tour of the galleries, collection of art of the Pops, Sistine Chapel where the Pops are elected. After the museums we drive to Saint Peter Square and the Basilica to see the Pietà by Michelangelo and the Tombs of the Pops.

Departure from Rome to Pompei with our drivers, 2 hours’ drive to get there and we will meet the local guide to visit the archeological area. 3 hours tour. Margherita, the guide, will already have the tickets and the headsets. Light lunch (own your own) before the departure to the Amalfi Coast, to enjoy the breathtaking view of Sorrento, Positano.
